  • About the Speakers:

    Matt Wehmeyer is the President at AgriMAXX Wheat Company. He oversees research, product development, production, agronomy, sales and marketing. He is an expert on wheat management for high yields. In addition, Matt is a partner in his family farm and Wehmeyer Seed Company, both located in Mascoutah, IL.

    John Howell is the Sales Manager at AgriMAXX Wheat Company. John is a partner on his family farm in Monroe County, IL and has multiple years’ experience growing high management wheat. He has been a Certified Crop Advisor since 2012 and has won numerous 100 Bushel Club awards. He is an expert on knowledge of the AgriMAXX Wheat varieties.

    Ronan Cummins is an international wheat specialist and agronomist. He is an industry leader in wheat management and achieving high yields and profitability. Originally from Ireland, he has intensive crop management experience in Ireland, England, and Australia. In 1997, he was recruited by Miles Farm Supply to boost wheat production in the western Kentucky, southern Indiana and Tennesseee areas. In 2018, Ronan founded Agronomy One, LLC, an independent provider of crop consulting services.

    Mike Toohill is an agronomist and crop consultant based in Bloomington, IL. He has been a Certified Crop Advisor since 1994. Mike is the go-to agronomist for many publications, including Brownfield Ag News, Farm Progress, Strategic Farm Marketing, agmarket.net and WLDS Jacksonville radio where he speaks about agronomics, economics, and the impact of weather during the growing season. He has 7 years experience in retail (fertilizer, chemicals, and seed), 17 years experience as a seed agronomist, and 13 years experience in crop insurance.

  • About the Speaker:

    Russell Hedrick is a first-generation farmer in the foothills of Hickory, North Carolina. Russell is known as one of the most progressive young farmers in the country. Russell has been a featured producer in Top Producer Magazine, Furrow Magazine, RFD TV, Ag PhD, and National No-till Farmer for profitably farming by reducing fertilizer inputs and using soil health practices on cash crops . In 2022, he won the North Carolina Corn Yield contest with AgVenture 9916 and a yield of 459.51 bpa, which gave him the title of Non-Irrigated Corn World Record Holder. Russell's operation focuses on maximizing profits and direct consumer marketing for all their products, including corn, soybeans, wheat, barley, pastures beef and pork.
